1m wide footpath reduced to 30cm due to weeds and plants growing over path.

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2563453.

You have to walk along edge of kerb. when traffic passing in both directions pedestrians arms are few cm from vehicle wing mirrors. Water runs off field in 4 places, ice in winter further hazard.Corby Rd.footpath between sign for Cottingham and junction with Harborough Rd. needs clearing of growth. Then if someone does slip they fall on path not into road. Will create a safe distance between pedestrians and vehicle.

  • Thank you for your enquiry. This location has been inspected by our team. There are currently no defects that meet our investigatory criteria for repair. These levels have been agreed with Northamptonshire County Council. We will continue to monitor the defect via our routine highway safety inspections.
