Trees blocking street lights

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2563540.

There is only one street light in the whole street,which is being blocked so no light is on In street.there is a lot of old people across the road.at night and early morning it’s pitch black . The trees belong to number 19 Buchanan ,which is a rental property. Recently I had people inside my garden at night . My garden used have some light from the street light,also my neighbors have and cars broken in to due to it being so very dark at night. The is owned by the council but they never check this street or they would have noticed the problem along time ago

  • Thank you for your enquiry. A letter has been sent to the relevant homeowner requesting that the overhanging vegetation is cut back. A revisit will be carried out 14 days after the receipt of the letter.

  • Passed to Regulation Team for further enforcement. Letter to householder to be sent week commencing 29/03 and final inspection to be carried out week commencing 12/04
