Reported via mobile in the Road Markings - Worn/Faded category anonymously at 12:48, Friday 26 February 2021
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 2 hours, 5 minutes later. ref: 2573675.
It may be under the wrong category, but where the junction of Gladstone Street and the B576 cars park in the white lines area from the factory across the road now when you want to turn right out of Gladstone Street towards Mkt Harborough you cannot see a thing because of the cars one day there is going to be a bad accident.

Thank you for your query to Northamptonshire County Council’s Street Doctor Service with regard to your request for parking restrictions at the Gladstone Street / B576 Junction, Desborough. This matter has been raised by Desborough Town Council who are looking, in conjunction with Highways, to introduce a one-way system in the Gladstone Street / Nichols Street area, part of the proposed works will include revisions to the parking restrictions in the area. Before new or revised parking restrictions can be introduced we have to undertake a legal process that involves consultations with residents affected but as part of the proposals we are intending to introduce double yellow lines at the Gladstone Street / B576 junction to address the issues you describe.
