Old broken signage and loose bricks on roundabout

Reported via desktop in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 20:38, Friday 26 February 2021

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2574724.

This roundabout on the A605 (by the lay by known as Fisherman's Layby) has black and white arrow markings around its perimeter in bricks, many of which are loose and falling into the carriageway. Some loose bricks seem to have been thrown onto the grass in the middle. The bricks need to be reset, and broken bricks removed, as they are a potential danger to traffic if they end up on the road itself.

The roundabout also has some broken posts and what looks like bits of old redundant signage lying on the turf. Signage needs to be rationalised, and old signs and posts removed. At the moment it looks a bit like a highways scrapyard - not a good entry point to Thrapston!

Thanks for your attention to this - just a little TLC and maintenance will make this look so much better.
