Disabled crosswalk frequently blocked, no effective street markings

Council has spent a lot of money on lowering the pavement kerb. Cars frequently block the disabled crosswalk when parking in order to shop. Requires a zebra crossing to make the the crossing more visible to motorists.

  • We have now carried out a site visit and will make arrangements for some bollards to be installed in order to deter parking near to the dropped kerbs. These will be supplemented by a KEEP CLEAR road marking adjacent to the crossing point. Please bear with us in terms of timescales.
