Due to pothole when it rains and buses go past my wall is now black and damaged by constant spraying

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2582655.

I have reported this problem twice now only to be told that the problem is not covered by fix my street. When the repairers were outside on Monday we showed it to them and they said to report it to fix my street. If this is not to be repaired please can you let me know how to go about making a claim onto the council for water damage to my property. I am sure fixing the pothole will save the council money in the long run. Thank you.
