This problem has been going on since 2019, please see previous reports. my property is regularly surrounded by approximately 8 inches of water and if we don`t lift the manhole covers its close to entering the rear of the property. when it rains heavily it`s like a river flowing through our garden. I have tried explaining that it`s not a case of just cleaning the drains as it appears to be more serious like a fracture but no one seems to listen. yesterday I received an email saying it was fixed, tonight at 11.00 pm I was out wading in water to lift the manhole cover on my drive to help drain some of it away. my fence post are now rotting at the base because they are regularly under water. when it rained heavy all day a few months ago I watched it and estimated approximately 500,000 gallons gushed through. I`m also concerned about the foundation of the house being affected long term.I have walked up to Pytchley road and climbed down the bank where the water is coming from close to railway bridge and could see it emerging from under the pavement so that suggest a brake or disconnected joint. I have sent many pictures on previous reports please check them. can you please sort this out urgently as if it continues I will be forced to seek legal advise to see if I can claim compensation for damages it`s been going on far to long and very frustrating that people seem to think flushing the drains will cure it.
Thank you for reporting a fault. We will use the information you have provided to assess and prioritise this fault in accordance with our published response times for fault reports.

18 th of June 3.15 pm , first decent rain for some months and contents of Pytchley road drains gushing across our property. been doing so since 2019 but can't seem to get anyone to sort it out, it's not just a flush job. must be an environment health issue having to have sewer manhole covers left open in case we have a heavy shower, if we don't then ours and neighbours house will more than likely flood .
