Blocked drain and water flowing under tarmac undermining wall that has now collapsed

Reported via desktop in the Blocked/Damaged category anonymously at 14:43, Thursday 4 March 2021

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2586869.

9 Church Road. Ref: 2431563 This was reported on 14/15 Dec 2020 and you came to inspect the next day. The drain was blocked, you said, and would be dealt with in 28 days. You have not been and the wall has now collapsed. You now say the fault is fixed but you have not been out to deal with the blockage. You must have gone to the wrong drain. Insurance company and Daventry DC want the drains dealt with before I can have the wall repaired. Please contact me personally.

  • Your men were here in Church Road, Spratton, yesterday 15 March cleaning out drains, but they did not clean out the drain outside 9 Church Road that I have been reporting since 14 December. I spoke to the men and they assured me they were coming, but the blocked drain has not been touched. What is happening? Is there a reason you are avoiding the drain I keep reporting?
