Verge grown over pavement
Reported via desktop in the Obstruction (Not Vegetation) category anonymously at 22:04, Monday 8 March 2021
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2595836.
The footway /pavement leading towards Sywell Aerodrome from the village staring near Sywell Hall is so overgrown that the width is down to 30cm in places. When I have walked this route in the last 12months I have noticed how close the lorries come to me - almost catching my elbows. As you will know this is a very busy stretch of road and the path is now dangerous. I wonder what might happen to a disabled wheelchair user or parent with young children or pushchair. Your help in cutting back to original width would be greatly appreciated. I informed Norse but they said emphatically that it is NCC problem and responsibility. (This is the south side of Wellingborough Road, Sywell)
