Blocked storm drain outside 30 Yelvertoft Road

Reported via desktop in the Blocked/Damaged category by Mr R J Beresford at 11:52, Monday 15 March 2021

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2609441.

I recently noticed the storm drain outside my property is full of mud & rubbish. When it rains the water coming down the hill flows over the drain due to the blockage. The drain above outside 46 is clear & below outside 2 is clear. My cellar is mainly dry but in the area near that blocked drain it has a damp wall. I am suspicious that the water entering the drain at 46 higher up the hill may be contributing to this damp problem and maybe causing problems for residents between us & 46 as it can't get past our blocked drain!

We note with regret, that you feel they are blocked and may pose a flooding risk. We have carried out an assessment of the problem and are pleased to confirm that the problem you have indicated in this location, has a work order to investigate, clean and test the gully.
