Deep Potholes & Road Rutting
Reported via desktop in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 21:38, Thursday 18 March 2021
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2618648.
As shown in the pictures there are 3 long narrow very deep potholes at the edge of the road surface as you drive out of Cold Higham towards Grimscote direction.
The road is narrow and vehicles will be forced to drive through these when there are large oncoming vehicles such as vans, tractors and lorries.
They are very deep potholes and pose a serious threat of causing damage to a vehicle such as punctures or cracked alloys.
If I were to damage to my vehicle as a result of these potholes I would take legal action against the council / highways for reimbursement of costs incurred as well as compensation.
Thank you for reporting a fault. We will use the information you have provided to assess and prioritise this fault in accordance with our published response times for fault reports.
