Deep Long Potholes & Rutting

Reported via desktop in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 15:24, Thursday 25 March 2021

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2633518.

As can be seen in the picture as you approach the bridge over the river heading towards the junction for the road to Woodford Halse there are numerous large potholes and rutting to the road surface along the left hand edge of the road.

These are right in vehicle tyre lines and you are forced to drive through them when there is an oncoming vehicle as you cannot swerve out to use the other side of the road.

The road in general is in a very poor state of repair and these potholes have been here well over 6 months and are getting progressively worse and new ones are beginning to form from the rutting.

  • It has been nearly a month since this was supposedly being completed and can't see it happening in the next two day considering the length of time it has been since it was first reported. I work in Farthinghoe and my whole route to work is plagued by potholes. Northamptonshire roads are a disgrace
