Finger Post Missing

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2636850.

At both ends of path RF17 the Finger Posts are missing. In the field there are two crossings of rope/electric fencing needed to use this path. This is a well used local path.

  • Thank you for your enquiry. This location was inspected on 29/3/21. A letter has been sent to the relevant landowner requesting that the electric fence obstructing this route is adequately covered to allow pedestrians to pass over safely. As discussed in our telephone conversation this route is well waymarked from the roadside as the positioning of fingerposts would be difficult.

  • Thank you for your enquiry. This location was inspected on 29/3/21. A letter has been sent to the relevant landowner requesting that the electric fence obstructing this route is adequately covered to allow pedestrians to pass over safely. As discussed in our telephone conversation this route is well waymarked from the roadside as the positioning of fingerposts would be difficult. Revisit undertaken on 20/4/21. Appropriate grab handles have been provided on the electric fencing to allow pedestrians to pass through safely. No further action required.
