The hedges here grow to the edge of the pavement and lean over the road
Reported via desktop in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 14:12, Tue 30 March 2021
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2643125.
On several occasions now lorries, including the bin lorries, are unable to get past the cars parked on the left side of The Jetty before number 3. The road is narrowed by the hedging and trees on the opposite side which should be a grass verge. My last delivery was again brought up to my house on a trolley by a pretty fed up lorry driver. Is there a way that this can be resolved?

It is almost 2 months since I repeated this problem. Could you give me an indication of how much longer you will need please in case another large vehicle is due to deliver anything to the top of The Jetty and there are several parked cars opposite the hedge and trees in question? I want to order some manure from the same company that had to use a trolley to deliver from the bottom of the hill up to my house previously due to the restricted remaining width of the road which would not allow a lorry to get through.
