Vibrations from speed humps causing damage to properties

Reported via desktop in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 10:38, Wed 7 April 2021

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2657383.

Your system won't allow me to select the speed hump, hence having to use the pothole option. I have reported the issue with larger vehicles going over the speed humps near our property on Moorhouse Way which cause our house to physically shake. This is also affecting 6 of our neighbours. All properties have similar damage, such as cracks around door frames, ceilings, skirting boards coming away from walls, uneven flooring etc. This is just what can be seen on the surface of things and not by a structural engineer. I have sent numerous emails to Sarah Barnwell regarding this and requested at least three times to meet with someone to discuss the removal and a satisfactory new traffic calming solution. This has been ignored. I am just being given the run around and Highways are simply not taking the complaints from myself and neighbours seriously. The speed humps are also causing issues for people further along Lake Avenue who live within similar proximity to those of us affected on Moorhouse Way. I would welcome a site visit and meeting with someone from Highways to arrive at a resolution for all parties affected.
