Overhanging tree
Reported via desktop in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 10:35, Wed 14 April 2021
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2670726.
There is a tree overhanging our property. ( number 31) from behind near the bridle path. We have cut this back as far as we can but this has not solved our problem. There are squirrels using this tree to jump onto our property and they are constantly nesting in our roof and we have to keep calling out builders and pest control. Is it possible for this tree to be removed or cut down to a lower level?

Update: Squirrels are using the tree branches to gain access to our loft area and have started chewing through some wires!
Photo added - we are the house on the left.
We’ve now had pest control out today (The Wasp man) to investigate the impact of the squirrels in our roof. He has confirmed that we have a large nest inside our loft area. The biggest concern is that he can see several wires have been chewed on and can cause a house fire!
We urgently need these trees and overarching branches to be cut down before further damage is caused to the house.
