Bulb failure right hand turn

Reported via mobile in the Lamp/Bulb Failure category anonymously at 12:54, Thursday 15 April 2021

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2673080.

Further to reference 2643286 previously reported. Can I ask you to check with your engineer that he has actually looked at the correct set of traffic lights please. Your Outcome said that all bulbs were working and that there was no failure at the traffic lights when cars are meant to turn right. I have observed this turning several times this week and never once does the right-hand lane bulb become lit. Your engineer said he had been to the area and checked it out. I was wondering whether he was looking at the correct set of lights. Could you please investigate further thank you

  • Maintenance engineer has attended site and found no fault. Arrow is appearing when vehicles move forward and wait to turn. I have also atteneded site and verified operation of the arrow. If vehicles sit at stop line and wait to turn the arrow will not come on. As per the highway code drivers should move forward into the junction and wait to turn.
