Overgrown Spiky Hedge blocking footpath
Reported via mobile in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 17:14, Sun 18 April 2021
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2677732.
The hedge between no.3 and no.5 Stuart Road is significantly overgrown and blocks over half of the footpath. This is a spiky hedge with vicious thorns. You are unable to pass on a mobility scooter or with a double pushchair. This is extremely dangerous as you have to pass onto the road to avoid getting cut by the hedge. This requires urgent attention.

I wish to add to the report on this problem. I live at No 5 Stuart Road and as the attached photo shows, the pavement is now overgrown to half its width presenting a danger to children and parents with pushchairs. One of my neighbours is also a mobility scooter user. I find it difficult to see approaching traffic when reversing off my drive. Please can something be done.
