Collapsed wall spilled into road has not been removed.

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2684990.

On Bridge Street, King's Cliffe outside of number 21 a wall of an adjacent property has collapsed and spilled debris onto the road approx. 3 months ago which needs to be removed. Bollards have been placed around this, however this is a narrow road on a bend meaning there is a danger to vehicles facing incoming traffic if attempting to drive around this. Pedestrians are also forced to walk in the road to get around it. Member of the public states Northamptonshire Highways are aware of this issue, however no action has been taken.

  • Thank you for your enquiry. This site has been visited and area made safe by our out of hours team. Home owner is aware and repairs due to be carried out shortly. Structural engineer has also been to site and has confirmed that this structure is safe. Highways to monitor.
