  • Thank you for your enquiry and for bringing this matter to our attention. We understand that you have concerns about the condition of the vegetation on Hoe Way; specifically, two cherry trees you feel are encroaching on your residents’ gardens. Whilst we appreciate your comments, we have carried out an investigation and can confirm that there are no immediate safety concerns evident. However, we are pleased to advise that a works order has been raised to remove the dead tree near the hedge; furthermore, we will also be cutting back the branches from the tree opposite. Unfortunately, this work will not be undertaken until after nesting season is complete (from September onwards) as there are birds present in the hedge next to the tree.
