Public Footpath is obstructed and overgrown

Reported via desktop in the Passage-Obstructed/Overgrown category anonymously at 11:22, Thursday 22 April 2021

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2685353.

The public footpath is obstructed and overgrown along the section between the end of unit 8 / start of unit 4 (as per marker point) and the exit at the A5001. Consequently pedestrians are forced of the footpath onto the private access road at the rear of unit 4. The access road is regularly used by heavy goods vehicles and has no footpath / safe egress point and therefore is hazardous for pedestrians to use. The obstructed section of the public footpath needs to be cleared, the bridge at the end needs repairs and the hedge growing into the ditch/along the roadside edge needs cutting back to allow safe crossing.
