  • Thanks for reporting this we have checked details with our definitive map team who deal with these closure orders and you are correct that the path should now be open, we will now be contacting the developer and will report back to you within the next 2 weeks with what action is going to be taken to open the path.

  • Bridleway FN4 E12/E10 new staggered/chikane type fencing to bridleway entry totally unsuitable for horse use. This needs removing asap

  • Re Bridleway off Byfield Road, (postcode NN113QS) Totally unsuitable fencing onto bridleway off the road which is not possible for a horse to get through!. Bridleway number FN4 E12/E10.

  • The staggered fencing at each end of the bridleway is unsuitable for horses to pass through. Furthermore, the red tarmac has been laid to identify the bridleway but this does not prevent cars parking on it and causing an obstruction. Bins are also being left on the bridleway on bin day causing further obstruction.

  • Thanks for reporting this we have checked details with our definitive map team who deal with these closure orders and you are correct that the path should now be open, we will now be contacting the developer and will report back to you within the next 2 weeks with what action is going to be taken to open the path. Thanks again and apologies for the delay but we can now confirm that we will be removing part of the railings to allow safe use for equestrian traffic within the next 4 to 6 weeks.
