The school crossing patroller operates on this Zebra crossing during school times. The markings and associated lines are in very poor condition and have been reported several times over the past 18 months. The condition has reached a point where the safety of pedestrians and the school crossing patroller may be compromised, particularly in wet weather conditions.

We understand that you have concerns about the condition of road markings that form the pedestrian crossing in this area; specifically, you feel this presents a safety risk to all who use it. We appreciate your comments and we have carried out an assessment of the issue and are pleased to confirm that the problem you have indicated in this location, already has a repair scheduled to resolve it. The information given back in February was that this should hopefully be completed within six months’ time. Please be assured that you will receive an update once repairs are completed.
