Insufficient time for a cyclist to pass over bridges/

Reported via desktop in the Request Timing Review category anonymously at 12:21, Friday 30 April 2021

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2699647.

On Wed 28 Apr 21 at 10,44 hrs approx. I was cycling Southwards down Grendon Road as I approached the traffic lights they were on Red and there was a car stopped ahead of me. The lights went to Green and the car moved off followed by myself. BOTH LIGHTS WERE ON GREEN as I cycled past. As I approached the Southern set of traffic lights there was a stationary lorry plus a number of cars. As I rode nearer the lights the lorry started to move and as I passed the lights I noticed that they were on Green. I estimate that my speed was 12mph, so quite clearly there is insufficient time for a cyclist to ride through this hazard. I quite often ride this route and have long suspected that this problem exists. Please address this issue as a matter of urgency.
