Path and highway do not drain

Whenever rain falls this narrow portion of pavement and the adjacent highway are submerged causing great difficulty for pedestrians especially those with prams, wheelchairs or mobility scooters

We understand that you have concerns about the condition of the drainage in this area; specifically, that you feel it has blocked after heavy rainfall and causing flooding risks to the safety of pedestrians who traverse the pathway. We have carried out an assessment of the problem and are pleased to confirm that the problem you have indicated in this location, has a repair scheduled to resolve it. This should hopefully be completed within a months’ time. Please be assured that you will receive an update once repairs are completed.
