There is a street cover sticking out the ground and a pothole next to it. This is between 2 schools and is used everyday by children of all ages. I have recently walked past and badly injured my ankle after catching my foot.

  • Thank you for your enquiry and for bringing this matter to our attention. We understand that you have concerns about the condition of the footpath adjacent to Wharf Road. Furthermore, we are troubled to hear that you feel a defect in the surface of the path has caused you to trip. We hope you are ok and are not injured. We are pleased to confirm that the problem you have indicated in this location, has a repair scheduled to resolve it. This should hopefully be completed within a weeks’ time. Please be assured that you will receive an update once repairs are completed.

    I badly injured my ankle and ended up visiting the hospital and now temporarily using a crutch. I have previously sent pictures.
