A repair has been completed to remove the immediate danger of trips but this is not a satisfactory repair There are still potential trip areas, all be them remote, the repair is very soft and if walked on will start to degrade quickly not to mention people dragging tarmac / bichimin into homes

  • Thank you for your further comments. Our inspector has said that the repair carried out will be more than adequate to resolve this particular issue. However, we have passed details over to our Regulations department; as we have concerns about vehicles driving over the footway and creating defects. There are no further safety concerns relating to this issue that warrant further investigation or repair at this time. However, please be assured that we will continue to monitor the area as part of our routine inspections. If you feel the situation deteriorates, please inform us via our Street Doctor platform.

  • Thank you for your comments: This is not to do with car causing further damage this a about foot fall walking over this patch and causing further damage, there is already evidence of foot prints in the repair already which suggest it is no fit for purpose. It may have the immediate effect of removing most of the immediate risk but it is only a matter of time before you have to come and repair it again. A proper robust longer term repairs would forgo any further visits in the future. Happy to meet with your inspector or the regulations department ( please provide contact details) to discuss further

  • Hi thanks for your comment. Can I please be notified when the inspections are to take place. My fear is that if you think this is a satisfactory repair now then you are likely to believe it is still alright in six months the time. I would like to meet with the inspectors as they do their rounds to make sure the frankly poor quality of this repair is made good. Please leave this report open as I do not agree this issue is concluded
