No tactile paving for the blind

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2712842.

No tactile paving for the blind on Broadway or Hawthorne rd at the London road end. These are major roads to cross and present a real danger for crossing with so much traffic. Please can these be instated at these locations.

  • Thank you for your query to Northamptonshire Highways Street Doctor Service with regard to your request for the installation of tactile paving on the London Road, Kettering at the junctions with Broadway and Hawthorn Road. Each year he have a small countywide budget for the implementation / upgrading of pedestrian drop kerbs and the installation of tactile paving. We will ensure these two locations are put forward for consideration for inclusion in this year’s programme..
