  • I refer to your initial response to my report. 1) The location of the drain is situated on the High St by the allotments and just below the primary school. 2) Photos are attached. Prior to you investigating the initial report a local resident had seen the issue and replaced the drain cover as they could see the danger.I cannot criticise this action for it was done for the right reasons. I am no expert but I see what I see.The drain is blocked with leaves and silt which as I have said before I reported it twice before this incident.Every time we have heavy rainfall water gushes out back onto the road and on this last occasion dislodged the drain cover. Unless the drain is cleared it will just become a problem.

  • For the 4th time I am reporting this issue and the residents of Pitsford would like it resolving. This has been caused by the 20 minute rainfall this morning which was by no means torrential for if it had I am sure the drain cover would have been lifted. Can we please have a date when this will be fixed once and for all.
