Extensive damage to road surface now damaging vehicles wheels and suspension. Whilst the situation was reported back in January, your scheduled repair of 26 weeks is simply not acceptable. The road surface has now broken further, causing extensive and costly damage to vehicles. You need to urgently reinspect the damage, and expedite the repair.

Thank you for your enquiry and for bringing this matter to our attention. We understand that you have concerns about the condition of A5123; specifically, you feel the surface is dangerous and detrimental to all motorists who use it and you wish for the repair to be expedited. Whilst we appreciate and sympathise with your comments, the current timeframe we have is that work is to be completed within two months’ time. In some cases, we are able to attend before this prospective time; however, at this time, we have no further information other than the 2 months given above. Please be assured that you will receive an update once repairs are concluded.
