Kerbstones along the side of the path along Windmill Lane are loose and protruding. These are a trip hazard to pedestrians and are contributing to deterioration of the path surface and side of the the road, which is already in very poor condition.

  • Thank you for your enquiry and for bringing this matter to our attention. We understand that you have concerns about the condition of the road and footway of Windmill Lane; specifically, you feel the kerbstones are loose and protruding, presenting a trip hazard for pedestrians. Furthermore, you are dissatisfied with the state of the road surface. We appreciate your comments and have carried out an assessment of the issue and are pleased to confirm that the carriageway defects that meet the specifications for remedial work you have indicated in this location, already have a repair scheduled to resolve them. This should hopefully be completed with a months’ time. Please be assured that you will receive an update once repairs are concluded.
