As a home owner and rates payer I am experiencing numerous problems. 1) Drainage issue outside property, reported to highway agency. No action to date! 2) Road markings or lack thereof. Cars parking on/over drain and meter reading manhole cover. 3) Water meter and sewage drainage located in the same manhole, this has been reported to Anglian water. Representative advised this is strictly illegal. They took photos on at least two occasions. No action. 4) Refer above. Mains sewer runs into same manhole as fresh water. Sewage Drain is visibly broken allowing foul water to mix with incoming "fresh" water, pictures to follow, all reported, no action taken. 5) Family have been suffering with gastro symptoms since moving in. This has lead to days off work and school which we attribute to foul water mixing with incoming fresh water, described as horrendous by Anglian water. 6) Access in and out of property is severely restricted by lack f parking restrictions. These have been reported to Police and crime number available. 7) Lack of road markings outside property creating serious hazard.
Immediate site visit is required. Failure to do so has and will continue to be reported to our Insurers and when required will be reclaimed from council.
At this moment no further council payments will be made until this issue is addressed for the safety and security of our home and supply. All and any claims arising will be for the liability of the council if no immediate and stringent action is taken to remedy the numerous faults.
Any injury, death or tragedy incurred as a result of your failure to address said issues will be met with legal action.
You are herby served notice of intention for legal action within 14 days of todays date (11/5/2021) to recover all cost related to illness, pain, suffering, damage to person and/or property howsoever incurred due to any failure to respond to these very serious issues that are life and property threatening.
