Unnecessary speed reduction

Reported via desktop in the Damaged / Missing / Facing Wrong Way category anonymously at 09:05, Wed 12 May 2021

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2720813.

The length of the A43 between Sywell and Hannington is currently under a 30MPH speed limit restriction. Can someone explain why please? Absolutely nothing is happening there and "lorries turning" is not a good reason to cut a speed limit in half. Lorries turn all the time to go into one of the numerous laybys there.
