Can you please advise what the official route is for the north-south footpath from Glendon to Thorpe Malsor to cross the A14 here? It is very difficult to cross the A14 directly as there is no gap in the crash barriers. There are paths to the west, both on north and south side of the A14, that lead to the underpass by Woodlands Hospital about 200 metres to the west, but there is no signage here to indicate this diversionary route, and the underpass under the A14 (as pictured) is unlit does not have pavements wide enough to walk on. Wouldn't the most sensible thing be to either widen the pavement here, or else make it easier to cross the A14 on the desire line, with a gap in the crash barrier where I've put my green marker? Thanks
