Damage to verge by BT

Reported via mobile in the Verges - Damaged by Vehicles category anonymously at 20:31, Wednesday 19 May 2021

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2736942.

Approx 3 months ago BT dug up outside 1 and 3-5 church cottages, gt harrowden. They have left it in an awful state. The level is higher than previous and consists of huge rocks and pottery so can no longer be mowed. I had intended to do some work removing ivy and dead trees council permitting but now it's hazardous and there is so much rock I'd need a digger to scrap the top layer off. Can you help get BT to rectify what they have done. Or provide help moving the rocks from the area. I am willing to upkeep the area once it's a bit more manageable.

  • Hi some work has occurred in that soil has been thrown over the rubble and grass seed added I'm assuming it was Bt but maybe not. I have included a picture of a large piece of hardcore with lots of grass seed on maybe someone's hoping for a Frozen moss troll. This is not going to work, when a mower goes over it this area it will hit hardcore. The level is still higher and I know this because the cycle sign had one post with rust and a hole at its base this can no longer be seen as the soil level it approx 4 inches piled up.
