Lines have faded near the service layby along greyfriars. Meaning cars are going against the flow of traffic.

  • Thank you for your enquiry and for bringing this matter to our attention. We understand that you have concerns about the condition of road markings of the white lines near the service layby on Greyfriars; specifically, that you feel that they are faded and require repainting. We have carried out an assessment of the issue and are pleased to confirm that the problem you have indicated in this location, has a repair scheduled to resolve it. This should hopefully be completed within 12 months’ time. In some cases, we are able to attend before this prospective time; however, at this time, we have no further information other than the timescale given above. Please be assured that you will receive an update once repairs are concluded.
