Severe flooding whenever it rains. Danger to pedestrians.

It is completely unacceptable and negligent for Northamptonshire highways to designate this as "not the council's responsibility". This repeated incident is causing a catastrophic risk to pedestrians. I understand that the road does not fall within your jurisdiction as it's down to the developer however as a government body which works for the people it is now at the point where you MUST intervene before someone is killed by an out of control vehicle. Legal action needs to be taken if the developer continues to prevent this being fixed.
Since the construction of a new housing development there has been continued flooding to the carriageway. This has still not been addressed after over a year of issues each time it rains.
We, the village residents would like Northamptonshire highways to intervene and fix this issue. Whether this comes in the form of legal action against the developer or whatever is required something MUST be done. We don't pay our council tax for you to Palm off issues concerning us to private companies who prioritise profit over our interests and safety.
This problem has been repeatedly reported to yourselves, when someone is killed along here you will be held to account. It's not my responsibility to do anything about this either but here I am. Step up. Fix the problem.
