Pot hole is now much deeper

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2748289.

There is a deep pothole that is getting deeper by the day due to rain. when it has been wet and the pot hole is filled with water you cannot see how deep it is. It is aprox 6inches deep now.

  • Thank you for your enquiry and for bringing this matter to our attention. We understand that you have concerns about the condition of Hillmorton Lane; specifically that you feel there is a deep pothole in the road surface. We appreciate your comments and have carried out an assessment of the issue and are pleased to confirm that the carriageway defects that meet the specifications for remedial work you have indicated in this location, have a repair scheduled to resolve them. This should hopefully be completed by the 10th of June. Please be assured that you will receive an update once repairs are concluded.
