During periods of rain we experience water running down college street and due to the tarmac not being evenly laid along the edge of the road (college street), water runs off into our driveway which has caused loosening of the stones at the entrance and gulleys in the drive allowing the rainwater to erode the surface and wash away much of the gravel

  • I have now replaced the damaged stones at the entrance to my driveway and repaired the gulley/surface damage on the entrance within my boundary caused by rainwater (at my own expense).

Can you please let me know if any contribution towards my material costs is available (I carried out the work myself so no labour costs were incurred) and when the remedial works to College street are likely to be carried out please so my repairs are not damaged in the same way as previously.

    Thank you

Further to your last update ‘works have been completed’, no work other than my own repairs to the driveway within my boundary have been completed. Please see pictures attached. There is still insufficient tarmac on the surface of college street which will continue to cause rain to run down and potentially cause further damage to my driveway.
