Dangerous overhanging branches

Reported via desktop in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 11:19, Fri 28 May 2021

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2754719.

One of the oak trees between the park entrance & police hut on the corner is severly overhanging the path, making it impossible to walk on pavement without going into the road. It's almost down to chest height and has thick branches at that level, so could cause injury if someone walked through or scooted/cycled. Quite a few of the other tress are overhanging but this was by far the worst we saw.

Updates

  • I was walking on King Edward Road Nn1 5lu - from Abington Park Vets, when without warning I lost my footing. The grate on the paving was loose and caused me to slip cutting and injuring my knee. I have photographed where it was and my slip caused it to move to the road. This needs to be fixed and I will also be making a claim for injury.
