Mud in pothole/sunken area of footpath next to the entrance to the Hill fort at the top end of Green Lane on the Hillfor

Reported via desktop in the Obstruction (Not Vegetation) category anonymously at 00:39, Wednesday 2 June 2021

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2762613.

There is mud across the footpath which gathers in a sunken area of the footpath. When the weather is dry it is heavily rutted and when wet is is gooey mud. It is getting deeper. It is impossible to go round without stepping onto the road for those who can. But I am in a mobility scooter and have to go through it or not use this main route if the weather has been inclement but it is the main route to the Tesco store.. There is no available pathway on the other side of Hunsbury Hill Road to use as an alternative. I will get muddy water ingress into my control box which will damage my scooter yet again.

The mud and water is causing further deterioration of the footpath causing it to sink further which will inturn create a greater problem if not resolved soon.
