Overgrown vegetation

Overgrown vegetation restricting view at 28 Millbank. this is causing issues as ambulance regularly attends elderly neighbor and struggles with visibility.

  • Thank you for your enquiry. A letter has been sent to the relevant homeowner requesting that the overhanging vegetation is cut back. A revisit will be carried out 14 days after the receipt of the letter.

  • The vegetation from 28 millbank is still an issue and nothing appears to have been done, blocking the road and the house opposite s hedge is now blocking the pathway meaning we have to walk on the road making it very dangerous for pedestrians.

  • These issues have not been dealt with and I have to walk my elderly mother in a wheelchair on the road which is very dangerous as the pathway either side of the road Millbank is now overgrown with hedges and vegetation

  • I see that less than half the hedge has been trimmed with the thorny cuttings left strewn over the edge of the road. This creates a problem with possible car tyre punctures. The worst overgrown section is still overhanging the road.

    Further complaints have been received regarding this address and the vegetation over growing the road way , causing danger issues with access and safety. 28 Millbank.

  • 17/12 Another letter has been sent to the owner/occupier to cut the vegetation back further and a further site visit will be carried out week commencing 10/01

  • 10/01 Owner has contacted and has arranged for the vegetation to be cut back by 31/01. A further inspection will be carried out week commencing 31/01

  • This has been investigated for 9 months now, with all due respect this really is not good enough, fed up with cars being scratched and it makes life very difficult for an ambulance that calls every day for a disabled resident.
