  • Thank you for your enquiry and for bringing this matter to our attention. We understand that you have concerns about the accessibility on the footpath, KD13, being obstructed due to excessive vegetation in this area. Specifically, that you feel that this could cause a hazard to all pedestrians. We appreciate your concerns and can confirm that the verges in this area are programmed to be cut, in the next six weeks, under our maintenance programme. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

    These nettles were cut back in June 2021. The attached images were taken on 13 Sept 2021. the footpath is again overgrown. would it be possible to spray them with weedkiller, sooner that having to cut back every 3 months or so?
