Large potholes that cause a lot of vibrations that make things fall off the house. Previous potholes have caused the road to be uneven. Been an issue for a few months.

Dear Sir/Madam,
Thank you for promptly assessing the problem; for keeping me informed and for scheduling work in the next 28 days - all of those responses are impressive and are genuinely appreciated.
I do hope that it will prove cost effective to resolve the whole issue in one visit and not just effect patch repairs to the worst potholes …. please ! The road has serial patches resulting from, among other things, water meter installation, Gigaclear broadband and I think other works. This together with patch repairs and the fact that complete re-surfacing of this section has not been done for very many years results in much of the vibration coming from the difference in ‘patch levels’. Furthermore, the industrial unit buildings towards/at the Desborough end of the road has meant a significant increase in traffic of all weights/sizes so the road really does need to be restored to B-Road highway standards.
As I explained when reporting the problem, I am not one to complain or exaggerate [ which is why I advised that a two-hour call-out was in my view unnecessary]: we fully appreciated when buying the house 33 years ago that some traffic noise was inevitable. This is the first time I have ever reported any problem of any nature to local authorities. What has changed is the now severe vibration which is verging on intolerable. This is the first time I have ever reported any problem of any nature to local authorities.
Many thanks again for your prompt reaction and let’s hope it is another 33 years before the need to report problems again …… because at 105 I shan’t be around to do it !
Best Wishes
Barry
