Overgrown verge

Reported via desktop in the Restricted Visibility category anonymously at 16:54, Wednesday 9 June 2021

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2780291.

Due to very overgrown verges the is no visibility at the top of ditchford road unless you pull far forward risking being hit by oncoming traffic. I've pulled out in front of on coming car simply because I CANNOT SEE THEM😑

  • Thank you for your enquiry and for bringing this matter to our attention. We understand that you have concerns about the condition of the vegetation adjacent to Rectory Gardens; specifically that you feel the vegetation is overgrown and restricts visibility of the road. We appreciate your concerns and can confirm that the verges in this area have been cut under our maintenance programme. With regards to hedge growth, this maintenance will most likely be carried out in October, as there are currently birds nesting in the vegetation there. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
