Subsided failed road structure and pot hole
Reported via desktop in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 13:29, Thursday 10 June 2021
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2782492.
Centre of the carriegeway is a long section of subsided and failed road structure and pot hole where tyres stressed. West bound from Sulgrave to Thorpe Mandevile. This section is so very subsided it is a very significant hazard due to loss of control and adverse camber when tyres are stressed. In years past there was a head-on collision at this location already due to this subsided road section. It is deep and will capture the steering of a motorcycle, cyclist or car/van leading to loss of control. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS.
Thank you for reporting a fault. We will use the information you have provided to assess and prioritise this fault in accordance with our published response times for fault reports.
