Overgrown Vegetation

Reported via desktop in the Weeds category anonymously at 15:13, Friday 11 June 2021

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2785496.

To walk along pipewell road desborough from swift close to desborough green space there is a narrow verge regularly used as a footpath. this has become overgrown causing pedestrians to need to walk in the road. Vehicles leaving desborough are unable to see pedestrians as they approach the bend. could the vegetation please be cut right back or better still could a proper footpath be put in place. I do fear there may be an accident if it is left as it is

  • The grass has been cut on Pipewell Road but the actual problem remains, which is the overgrown vegetation between Swift Close and the industrial estate causing pedestrians to need to walk in the road. This route is well used by walkers often with dogs or small children to access the Desborough Greenspace. Please confirm this is still 'in progress'. Thankyou.

  • The grass has been half. Heartedly cut back but what is needed is the trees and bushes cut back, more than the grass.
