Thanks for reporting this and apologies for the delay in responding back to you, due to the current time of year being wet and crops on the field it may prove difficult to get this repaired until the summer months however, we will attempt to due our best and now arrange for a new bridge to be installed ASAP, at the latest it will be after harvest.

Last update confirmed it would be repaired after harvest. I guess they didn't confirm which harvest as we are now entering the spring 12 months later and still no repair - field has been prepared for next crop so will need to act soon before being able to use same excuse again. It's now been nearly two years since originally reported and land owner hasn't even made a temporary repair to make it safer. As originally confirmed in 2021 this landowner rarely leaves a path clear through the crops, lets the blackthorn overgrow on styles to make it difficult to pass - I don't believe they are taking their responsibilities of maintaining public right of way seriously enough as this evidence of repairing a footbridge clearly shows.
