  • Hi there,

The regulatory speed limit sign is still obscured after 3 months. Although this has been reported to Highways England the speed limit sign does not appear to be their responsibility.

    Thanks very much

  • Hi there,

Regardless of who placed the road works sign the regulatory National speed limit sign is I believe the responsibility of Northamptonshire Highways, please correct me if I am wrong. I'm struggling to understand why...

    A) Northamptonshire Highways don't move the road works sign immediately.

    B) Why it is my responsibility to make any further queries with Highways England when the National speed limit sign is I believe the responsibility of Northamptonshire Highways.

    Thanks very much

  • Thank you for your further enquiry. This sign relates to works which to M1 which were carried out by Highways England, the sign is the property of Highways England. Whilst we are unable to collect and remove this sign. We arrange to the sign to be put face down in the verge so it does not obscure the derestriction sign and will re contact Highways England again to collect their sign
