Overgrown

Reported via iOS in the Weeds category by Peter Dowsett at 15:12, Sunday 20 June 2021

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2805552.

Footpath HF10 is overgrown with weeds. Ideally the path need upgrading to improve the width to 2m and provide an all weather surface. This is one of the few footpaths that connects the PHP strategic development with Weldon Village. It should also be cycleway standard.

There are stinging nettles in places. This path between Weldon Village and PHP Strategic Development is almost impassable with a child’s buggy or by mobility vehicle.

This footpath has not been cleared and it is now over the 28 days since the original report above. My house borders this and all I hear is children crying because of the nettles. Families are being forced to cross at the A43 trunk road roundabout which is far more dangerous.
